How daily profit is calculated, step by step

A plain-language walk through the maths behind your daily payout, with a worked example you can check against your own ledger.

Every plan states a yearly rate. Your daily profit is that rate spread across the days in a year, applied to the amount you invested. Here is exactly how it works, so you can check every payout yourself.

From a yearly rate to a daily one

A plan that pays 12.5% a year pays 12.5% ÷ 365 each day, which is about 0.0342%. On $5,000 that comes to $1.71 a day.

Profit is always rounded down to the cent, so your balance never shows money you haven’t received.

When the payout lands

Profit is credited at the plan’s payout time. If the plan skips weekends, no profit is paid for Saturday or Sunday, and your maturity date already allows for that.

A worked example

Day Invested Profit Total profit
Day 1 $5,000.00 $1.71 $1.71
Day 2 $5,000.00 $1.71 $3.42
Day 30 $5,000.00 $1.71 $51.30

Check it on your ledger

Open Transactions and filter by Profit. Each entry shows the plan, the period and the amount, so you can match it to this calculation.
